JUA総会報告   第102回日本泌尿器科学会総会会期中にIJU Editorial Board Meetingが開催され、編集委員会から主幹の菊地先生が年次報告を行いました。 また、査読者の中から海外の先生を含め11名の“Reviewer of the Year”を選定し、表彰を行いました。査読の労をお取りいただいている皆様には重ねて御礼申し上げます。 【IJU Reviewer of the Year受賞者】 （敬称略） 松岡 陽、山西 友典、松本 成史、今村 哲也、白石 晃司、藤井 靖久、篠島 利明、井川 靖彦、 Yao-Chi Chuang、松本 一宏、重村 克 【IJU年次報告】 IJUの2013年の投稿論文数は1360編で、うち日本からの投稿数は283編でした。2011年1月よりUrological Association of Asiaのofficial journalとなりimpact factorも順調に上昇しているため、投稿論文数の増加につながったものと考えられます。特に中国、台湾からの投稿が近年増加しております。投稿論文をカテゴリー別に見てみますと、original articleが762編と半数以上を占め、case reportは354編投稿されておりました。全採択率は16.9%で、immediate rejectionの率は60.2%でした。2013年よりimmediate rejection担当の編集幹事を増員し、良性、悪性疾患関連の論文の判定を、それぞれを2名ずつで行い、より公平かつ効率の良い編集業務を推し進めております。投稿の段階でも投稿カテゴリーを10の泌尿器科領域に分類し、より専門性の高い査読者にreviewいただけるようなシステムを取り入れております。 IJUの2013年の掲載論文の内訳はoriginal articleが99編、review articleが36編、case reportが14編でした。特に現在編集部が力を入れておりますのは、editorial comment掲載の推進です。Editorial commentは“著者と査読者のシンプルでユニークな対話”そのものではないかと感じております。Editorial commentを通して論文の全体像、臨床的重要性、研究の限界などが分かりやすく解説され、読者の先生方にとりまして論文の理解を深めていただくのに有用であると考えております。2013年は85編のeditorial commentを掲載しております。ご多忙な臨床のなか、査読・editorial comment執筆の労は御負御負担になるかと思いますが、論文の質の向上、雑誌の質の維持に欠かせないものでございます。今後とも学会員の皆様のご協力を引き続きお願い申し上げます。 IJUでは2014年4月より日々の臨床にすぐに役立つ記事を広く紹介する目的で新たな投稿カテゴリー、Urological Notesを加えました。新規手術手技の紹介、手術手技・泌尿器科処置のpitfall、教育的でタイムリーな泌尿器科の話題を提供したいと考えております。奮ってご投稿いただけますと幸いです。 IJUのimpact factorは、2011年1.747、2012年は1.734でした。この部分は2012年、2013年のIFが掲載される予定更なるimpact factor向上に向け編集部一同、より一層の努力を続ける所存でございます。学会員の皆様におかれましても他英文誌に論文を投稿される際には是非ともIJUの論文を引用いただけるようお願い申し上げます。2014年のimpact factorは2012年、2013年に掲載された論文が対象となり、2014年に引用された延べ回数をもとに算出されます。最近2年間に掲載された論文の引用がimpact factor向上に不可欠であることを改めまして強調させていただきます。   編集委員長  大家基嗣 編集主幹  菊地栄次 Return to top   2. AUA Meeting Report   アメリカオーランドで開催されたAUA - American Urological Association (米国泌尿器科学会)にて2014年5月16日～21日まで日本泌尿器科学会の展示ブースが開設され、IJUのプロモーションを中心に展示をしました。また出版社WILEY BLACKWELLの展示ブースでもジャーナル出版担当者によりIJUのプロモーションが行われました。2013年“Reviewer of the Year”に受賞されました松本一宏先生（慶応義塾大学医学部泌尿器科）は現在アメリカご留学中ということで、JUA-AUA Joint meetingで授賞式を行いました。 Return to top   3. 論文へのアクセスを増やす、SEO（検索エンジン最適化）のコツ   論文を執筆する際に、SEO（検索エンジン最適化）に配慮したちょっとした工夫によって、ご自分の論文へのアクセスを増やし、長期的に利用・引用を増やせる可能性があります。「自分の論文を検索上位にヒットさせるSEOのコツ」として6つのポイントを以下にご紹介します。IJUにご執筆される際にも、是非ご活用ください。 SEOに配慮した表題を付ける 論文の内容を具体的に表現し、またその主題に関するキーワードを含む表題を付けましょう。キーワードは、表題の冒頭65文字以内に配置しましょう。 Abstract（抄録）にキーワードをうまく配置する 自分の論文を検索するとしたら、他の研究者はどのような単語やフレーズを使いそうか予測してみて下さい。そういったキーワードやキーフレーズを、Abstractの中で3・4回繰り返しましょう。ただし文脈から外れて無理に押し込んだり、過度に繰り返すのは逆効果です。 キーワードは少なくとも5つ設定する キーワード欄には、abstract中で繰り返したのと同じキーワードやフレーズを入れましょう。それら以外にも妥当なキーワードや、キーワードの同義語・類義語があれば追加しましょう。 著者名の表記に一貫性を持たせる 著者名は、イニシャルを含めて同じ表記を論文中で一貫して使い、また過去の論文で使った表記と同じものを使うようにしましょう。 見出しを活用する 論文中の各セクションに見出しを付けると、論文の構成と内容についての手がかりを検索エンジンに与えることができます。見出しには、キーワードやキーフレーズを適切な範囲で盛り込むようにしましょう。 自分や共著者の過去の論文を引用する 適切な範囲で自分や共著者の過去の論文を引用すると、過去論文の被引用回数が新しい論文のページランクに反映し、検索順位のアップにつながる可能性があります。 Return to top   4．総説論文一覧   過去一年間に出版された総説論文をすべて無料でご覧いただけます。論文ご執筆の際に参考文献としてご利用ください。   Artificial urinary sphincter for post-prostatectomy incontinence: A review Enigma of urethral pain syndrome: Why are there so many ascribed etiologies and therapeutic approaches?
